Hi... I am new to everything BB. I had an iphone but it bit the dust a week or so ago. I just picked up the Curve 8310 today, and I am trying to set up my email. I have looked through the other posts, and havent found a resolution to my problem...
My "messages" icon shows that I have a emails (red astrick), yet my yahoo or gmail icons do not. Is there any way to turn off only email notifications to my "messages" icon, yet still be able to be alerted to new SMS messages? I know its more or less a cosmetic issue, but I am tired of always going into my messages icon to see that I have a yahoo or gmail email instead.
