Hey, I just got my 8830 yesterday, and I love it so far.

I'm curious though... Does BlackBerry Maps cost me anything?

2nd, can I turn of the volume on the keypad? I have the phone on Vibrate, but when I enter a phone number, it makes a tone for each key.

im on bell, i assume it's the same for all carriers, but blackberry maps only costs whatever data it uses, as far as the key tones... i just grabbed one, and i can't figure it out :S key tones is turned off and it still does it. akward. have to wait for backup from someone else for that.

For the keytones, just go to options then screen/keyboard, scroll down to keytone and turn it off.

It is off Jahkure. The phone is on vibrate, and I still hear the tone.

The only keys that make noise are the numbers. Do yours still do that?

Actually it does.All keys are silent except for the number keys while dialing.

Yeah, I was hoping there was a way to silence the numbers too.
