I know that the Desktop manager will load my music onto my 8100.
    My question is:
    1. BEFORE going to the DTM, is there an application I need to use to CONVERT a digital recording I made in a recording studio and is now on my desktop in one of those little i-Tunes icons?
    2. IF the icon has WAV on it, does that make a difference?

So far, the files I loaded onto my Pearl via DTM have not been playable.

Thanks for your patience, and for your help.

You want to convert your .wav files into .mp3 format. iTunes should be able to do that.

Thank you for your timely assistance. Using the Cable,
I could not import the iTuned-processed music file onto my Pearl via the Desktop Manager on my PC. The Media Card for Music would not appear on the right side of the window. Only the Photos and the Videos would appear.
So I ended up moving the iTuned-processed music file to my Pearl via Bluetooth, which it did perfectly. But it takes so long to do this!
I'd rather use the cable. It moves photos & videos quickly to my Pearl.

I have turned the "mass storage" capability in Options
    application on.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
