Hiya, my names darren and im from london.
Basically im a phonaholic, I buy a phone every month or so cos I end up getting bored with the phone I have.
I just brought a bold 9900 today off ebay, so im waiting for that to be delivered.
I want my needs for a phone to change, im not really into apps, only use the same odd few on any phone I have. I want a phone that is great for email messaging and calls, hopefully the bold is the right phone for me.
Theres summink sexy about blackberrys, whenever I see them out and about they just look so sleek and classy.
Anyways im super excited about getting my bold 9900 and cant wait to be in tje gang lol.

Welcome to the forums, Darren! I've had a couple of Bolds in my time with BlackBerry, and they by far offer the best typing experience on a mobile. Heck, I can go as far as to say I type faster on a Bold than on my laptop even. Hope you enjoy your device when it arrives, and be sure to ask any questions you have to the forums!

Hi Al, yeah ive been waiting for a good one to come up for the last few days and was beginning to get quite frustrated, but a excellent condition locked to orange one was ending today so I just put my maximum bid in at the last second., Im with three so will have to get an unlock code.
I feel that the unlocked ones are going higer by about 20 odd quid so ur best bet is to by a locked one which is usually cheaper than unlocked, and then get an unlock code from ebay which is only like 99p if u look around at the reputable sellers, so all in all ur saving urself about 20 quid depending on the ammount the bold u bid on goes for.

I personally do not think that you could ever go wrong with a BlackBerry. Especially if emailing is your thing. I have had the 9700 and got to play with the 9900. Just keep your eyes open for that Q10. Typing,for me anyway, has never been better.

How often do you change your phone again? Phew thanks goodness it's not marriages

there's something about the Bold 9900 that I still miss a lot every time I see my brother-in-law using it - I gave it to him when I switched over to the Z10. I'm waiting for the Q10 on Kijiji to drop down a bit and I'll probably get one so I can swap back and forth with the Z10
