    Those classes are speed ratings. For example a class 2 would write 2MB/s, class 4 would write 4MB/s and so on..

    CostaBerry is correct... and I believe if you have a Bold you can put a 16G memory card in it and it should work just fine.

    just make sure u have the correct version on your bb before you head out and get yourself a microsd card. for example, only v4.5 on a curve will be able to take a 8GB card.

    and as kingrx mentioned your curve can only take the 8 gig with 4.5
