Just another Noob

Been around smartphones for years, just never had a crackberry before.

Have been lurking for a while now to try and determine what type of device to get, settled on a 8310 Red Curve. I am a Windows Mobile semi-convert. I still have my Tilt and Treo 750, just in case.

Although, from my short time with the Curve, I can honestly say that it could be an addiction in the making.

I have already installed apps like Viigo, BB Maps, ESPN, Live Search, Google Maps, Yahoo Go 3 Beta. There are more I have my eye on and will be looking at customizing even more.

I am sure I will have questions and I am sure a lot of you will have answers. Let me just say Thank You in advance, just in case I forget to later.

I will also try to help as much as I can, but being new to the devices, I wouldn't hold my breath.

I've had my Pearl for just over 3 1/2 months and I'm anxiously awaiting my Curve 8310 (Red) to be delivered via FedEx

I, too, am a newbie. I was given a red BB Pearl and I am in LOVE!!! Where have you been my whole life?!? I was a little leery of going the smartphone route after very disappointing experiences with Treo's and a Blackjack.
