Hi all. Wanted to introduce myself and say how happy I am to have upgraded to BB from an iphone 4. I've had the iphone 2g since launch and almost every model since then. Well my latest 4 which was 2 years old finally broke beyond repair. I'm issued a phone for work, govt employee, and have been asking for the iphone 5. They wouldn't go for it and best they could do is a bold 9930. Needless to say I'm a blackberry addict after just 3 days with my bold! The BB ui is beyond superior IMO and I'm a complete apple guy to the max, have every toy there is. Until now that is. I never thought I'd like the physical keyboard but now I can't see going any other way.
Anyway, I'm glad I upgraded to such a superior smartphone and not just another apple toy. Keep up the good work CB! Love the site and CB app! Just need to learn to type faster now and ill be cometely satisfied.

Congratulations, I am on a Z10, but came from a 9930 Bold. It is an excellent device. The email is superb. You may want to check out the Q10 when it is out. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks all. I love the z10 from what I've read and seen, and actually my 9930 is a temp until the new os10 is being tested on our networks. The z10 is a beautiful phone but honestly, I'm getting addicted to the virtual keyboard and may pass up on the z10 or see if I can get the q10.
Next, hand-down the ipad mini to the kids and upgrade to a playbook?

Don't be put off a virtual keyboard because of the iPhone, the keyboard on the Z10 is spectacular, even the iSheep can admit. You would be very very pleasantly suprised. I don't feel the need to go back go a physical keyboard
That said, I adored the one on my 9900, and the keyboard on the Q10, is like it, so it might be a great option for you

I have also owned the very first iphone when it was released, and my recently owned 4S. Jailbroken and everything, but something was still missing. It got really boring seeing everyone with iphones, and androids were a nice alternative, but always choppy and not as polished as Apples iOS. I have been wanting the Bold 9930 for the longest time, but i was stuck with my 4S for another 18 months. I would walk into the VZW store just to type on the 9930 keyboard then leave. lol.

Finally 9930's started popping up used around $220-$250 range, so i sold my 4S and picked up a used 9930 immediately. Til this day, I dont miss the iPhone one bit. I have been loving the phone so much. Great emails, calls, and texts. I also love the keyboard so much, and with the touch screen combo and trackpad, there are just so many options on how to navigate. Apps arent that important to me, but as long as i have the main ones like FB, Twitter, Flixster etc. Im good.
