I'm a new Blackberry Pearl owner, and I'm loving it!

Having been a big user of iCal and Google Calendar, I like the ability to download public calendars. Is there a function like this for the Blackberry? I'm basically looking for the easiest way to add American holidays to my calendar. I'd also like to be able to download sports schedules and such.

Do you sync with Microsoft Outlook? If yes, get those 'add-ins' in Outlook, and when you sync it will automatically sync to your BlackBerry...

I have started using Outlook, so this is very helpful.

I haven't decided if I want to use Google calendar or Outlook going forward for my personal events. More smartphones seem to sync with Outlook rather than GCal, so it might be the smart choice for the future. I use outlook at work, but I really like having the option of multiple calendars and accessability anywhere with GCal. I'll reasearch the link you added.

Well if you have a mac using ical you can download that to the blackberry they sync.
