Bienvenue. The Z10 did have a problem at first with the battery life. Later revisions of BB10 helped a lot.

Welcome.. Also there is lot's of information here on how to improve battery life with your Z10 everything from screen brightness (I run mine at half & it is plenty) to not running the NFC, WiFi when not in use and other tricks... Rocking with my Z10 & 64GB Playbook.

Welcome to the forums. Battery issues can improve markedly depending on your settings, how often you have social apps updating and what OS version you are running. CrackBerry is a great place to be, hang out, to be helped and to offer help. You will probably make some new friends as well. I know I have.
