I'm new here but not new to BB. I just upgraded from a Pearl 8110 to a Curve 8900. I was really interested in the Bold 9700 but I just didn't like the trackpad. Despite all the issues I heard about others having with the trackball, I still prefer it over the trackpad, then again I never had any problems with mine on my Pearl. Needless to say since I got my Curve, me and it have been inseparatable. I'm such an addict.
