Unless you want to try your hand at taking the track ball apart and cleaning it (there are instructions here on crackberry) and the batt pull did nothing I'm gunna have to agree with crazyberry

Does taking out my battery do something different than a regular phone? I keep hearing everyone not wanting to do that, so I want to make sure.

Pulling your battery simply peforms a hard reset and refreshes your device.
