I am a relatively new blackberry user and have started to use blackberry messenger pretty regularly. Whenever I get a new messenger message the little smiley shows up on my screen with a red star indicating that I have a new message. The other day I read my message and realized that the little smiley stayed on the screen AFTER I had read the message now wont go away. I closed all my conversations thinking this would work but it still will not go away (there is not red star as i have read all my new messages). Any idea how to get the smiley to go away?
