I have a sprint blackberry 8830. the account is currently suspended. and I was trying to sell it. but im not sure if any one else will be able 2 use it because of my bill. is there something I can do other then pay the bil???!?!

typically the carrier wont release the ESN number with a balance owed. Half of them end up on ebay anyway. If you cant get the number cleared, at least be a stand-up guy and don't rip someone else off.

Find someone at Sprint who will change it for you. In my experience, if the phone is still "active" on an account (even if the account is suspended) a new user won't be able to activate it.

you could sell it for parts. Just be clear that the number is flagged.

Sprint's system should still allow an ESN change, just have to find someone willing to do it...

yeah go to celltrade.com and sell ya whole account to someone.it's really easy and quick and then you don't have to worry about the early term etc..
is the balance that big?
