Finally pulled the trigger and ordered a BB!

I'm finally getting a BB, I ordered a BB Curve 9330 from Amazon.com and should be getting it in the next few days. I have an iPhone 4S but I've wanted a BB for a while and I'm finally getting one. Anyone have suggestions of apps I should download, getting started tips, or anything else I should know?

The CB Launcher or CB Forums apps are a good starting place, makes things easier for you to access the forums and read the blogs on the go.

We also have a BlackBerry 101 section for all your getting started needs.

The community are always glad to help out but those should be good starting points for you.

Welcome to the wonderful world of BB and CrackBerry forums, the best of both their respective worlds. BB101 as recommended above is a very fine place to get started. Then once you see what you wish to do with the phone you can seek the apps to manage your thinking. For me a couple of the early weeks with the first BB time was spent just learning my way around BB functionality and the phone. Now there are lots of apps in daily use but they serve my purposes and maybe not what you are looking to manage.

I'll probably use it for BBM, Navigation apps, and Twitter/ Facebook on my new BB. Any general app recommendations are welcome, I'm pretty sure there will be a bunch of uses that you all can think of that I haven't considered.

Congrats on your 9330, Rayz!

I have a nifty little program called (Memory Booster ★ RAM Optimizer By S4BB Limited) which helps clear up memory when needed. I used it on my old 8530, but it was compatible with my 9900 also, so I just kept it.
