Hi. I recently got a blackberry storm and i am trying to update the software. When the update is running it suddenly stops and says there is a fatal error and to try agian later. Is there some thing i am doing worng?

I recommend you wipe your device and start over with a clean install. That should eliminate the source of the error.

I am having the same difficulty. This is my first BlackBerry and the first device of it's kind that I have owned. How do I "wipe my device"?
Also, and I am not sure if anyone would know this, but the option that allows you to synch info from a treo to the BB, since the treo is just a palm device, I was wondering if, when I actually locate the wire, if it will get the information off od my palm tungsten e3.
