    I just got my blackberry curve and i love it, but do i need a memory card to download ringtones, themes and applications?

    You don't need it. It's recomended so you don't take up room on your device. Enjoy the phone and the site. And themes dont go on your memory card . So your okay there.

    A microSD card will give you storage space for ring tones, music, video and pictures. Applications and themes are typically kept in the device memory.

    Ringtones & pictures can be stored on a memory card to save space on your BB.

    Did you install the Blackberry Desktop Manager from the CD that came with the device or download it from BlackBerry - Desktop Software - BlackBerry Desktop Software at BlackBerry.com
