    Sorry, that is faulty information for the new Li-Ion batteries found in most BlackBerrys since about the 7100 models came out. The Li-ion batteries should be fully charged, and do NOT need conditioning. They should be topped off regularly, even daily. Li-Ion batteries are memory free, and are best pro-longed with a solid discharge about every 30 cycles, and then fully charged.

    The older Nickle-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries might have best been used with conditioning, as you suggest, but not the current batteries that come OEM with your BB today.
