    My first smartphone was a bb curve. I've only had two phones that I kept for a complete contract. The Pearl and an iphone 4. After years of the iphone, I picked up a cheap classic and finally made the full switch today.

    How is the BB app store these days? Not Android apps but actual BB apps.

    I'm waiting on a Passport to be delivered so I'll be making the switch soon.

    I found myself spending more time with BB10 than I do with Android.

    And a good one!! I'm convinced that smartphone addiction is a much bigger problem than we, as a society, are willing to admit.

    Same here. I have a 15 yo addicted to an iPhone 7. The rest of the family isn't much better. I'm the only one at the 1st step. Admitting that there's a problem. I dont want to spend the rest of my life addicted to a phone. I'm a mobile geek so I'm also very distracted by the hardware itself, not just using it. I swap phones frequently and like to try everything that comes out.

    My goal is to get back to comms and productivity only on 1-2 year old hardware. I want to buy a different phone whenever I want to without paying full retail price for the latest cutting edge hardware.

    Welcome back! Did the same journey more or less (and loved the curve and the pearl) and since last week I'm using only a white passport! Thinking about getting a Q10 or a Classic too just to try them as they are very cheap these days! But can't decide between the too! So far really happy with the passport!
