I use the gmail client to manage my email on my BB since I like only having to delete messages from one place and I don't need new mail notification. I do want to be able to email photos from my camera app though. I don't want to have the messages from the "photo sending" email account pulled down to my Blackberry, but I still want to be able to send email from that account. Is this possible?

No, on a BlackBerry, email is a two way thing, period. But, why not just turn the notification off for emails on that account?

Well if the op is on BIS, they can login to BIS and check the "When no filter applied do not forward messages to device." I have not tried this, but it seems like it should work. OP let us know.

Yeah, that worked! AT&T users go here, for AT&T BIS login. Then click Filters on your email address.
