I'm torn between Accuweather's app and Weatherbug's app. I have them both now (don't ask LOL) and I can't decide which one I like best, so I thought I would come here where the experts are and find out So, give me your 2 cents worth...please? Thanks!

As accurate as any other online service. I tested it against a digital thermometer at home it it was off 2-3 deg. +/-

So it only works for cities? What about for us small town folks?

Good question. I live just outside of a large metropolitan area (1+ mil) and the city I live in was not listed.

You're going to have to download it and see what you come up with.

I live in a small town north of Des Moines, Iowa and both AccuWeather and Weatherbug found my town. I'm leaning more towards weather bug...but am still undecided.

I didn't have to pay for either of them...but it did take a day or so for the accuweather app to appear on my "home" screen. I was checking my messages and couldn't figure out what was different and it was accuweather LOL.

I love weatherbug cuz I like how I always know the current temp! Also, I like the forecast feature and the alerts for severe weather, etc. Never tried accuweather, though. My attempt at weathereye wasn't very good. The temps and forecasts for my city were NEVER right. Maybe they just had a bad local source.

I just got home from Mason City, IA a couple days ago. I loved it! A big difference from sunny SoCal, but man, what a great place and very nice people.
