    While in Messages:

    Menu
    Options
    General Options
    SMS and Email Inboxes: Set to Separate

    Then hide your general messages icon.

    Welcome!

    Hover over icon, hit menu, then hide.

    If you ever wanna see the hidden icons, hit menu then show all.
