Default Willyboy v4 & v7 hybrids available for all!

I recommend uninstalling any other OS’s off of your computer and running CCleaner (including registry cleaner) to ensure a clean install. Please back up all your data before proceeding.

-This is meant to install over the following OS:

8520: 5.0.0.822
8530: 5.0.0.782
8900: 5.0.0.822
9000: 5.0.0.822
9500: 5.0.0.841
9520: 5.0.0.713
9530: 5.0.0.591 or 5.0.0.797 (choose in installer)
9550: 5.0.0.713
9700: 5.0.0.862

-Run Willyboy v4 or v7.exe to install the hybrid over the base. (If you are asked to create a new directory, you are doing it wrong)
-"Exit" the installer, Shrink-A-OS will pop up. Shrink out all languages you do not need to save space. DO NOT shrink out default fonts and themes. (Thanks to
-If you choose to wipe, now would be the time to do it.
-Launch loader from SAOS. If core applications are missing from loader selection, try launching from BBSAK or BBMCP.

These are .841/.857/.862/6.0.0.31/.135/.141 builds.

-East Asian Language support is included and fully functional.
-Google Maps v4.4.0, UberTwitter v0.98, Twitter for BlackBerry v1.0.0.45, newest App World, FourSquare v1.9, and Xtreme Labs Speedtest are all included.
-Includes all stock Blackberry games and IM Applications with loader options.
-Includes an option to install the NEW Driphter.com Mobile Launcher!
-BIG thanks to Lyricidal for allowing me to use his new BBH TOOL! This will pop up instead of Shrink-A-OS after the install but it functions just the same.... only better! Check out his work at BBHybrids Forums - BBHybrids - Home!

It is important to keep in mind that the first couple reboots will take a lot longer than normal. Also, battery life will not be good until the device settles which usually takes 24-48 hours. If you have it loaded and are experiencing sub-par performance, consider wiping a reloading. Another helpful utility is to every once in a while give your phone a security wipe.

Device/About Screen
8520/5.0.0.862/6.0.0.31
8530/5.0.0.782/6.0.0.31
8900/5.0.0.862/6.0.0.31
9000/5.0.0.862/6.0.0.31
9500/5.0.0.841/6.0.0.31
9520/5.0.0.713/6.0.0.31
9530/5.0.0.732 or 5.0.0.841
9550/5.0.0.732 or 5.0.0.841
9700: 5.0.0.862/6.0.0.31
If you want to verify you installed otherwise, go to Options>Applications>Menu>Modules and scroll down to see the .862/6.0 files.

Please post your comments and feedback! ENJOY!

I'd love to install this but I think I'm going to wait for a OS6 hybrid from willyboy6. I'm happy atm with the 6.3 but there best be a leak soon! Really want to try the new 6! Expesh a hybrid from willyboy.

Hopefully this version fixes the issues , one, where It randomly stops playing YouTube videos after a while of watching a couple of videos and two, opening the camera app on my bold 9000

Did not work for me. Tried everything but when I went to the about screen it still showed .882. I don't know what I did wrong here.

For those having issues with the install, my suggestion is this. Likely, you have an official version of 5.0.0.822 installed on your computer. Per my instructions, the hybrid installs over the LEAKED version of 5.0.0.822. Sometimes the leaks have slightly different loader folder names and hence won't install properly. If you are prompted to "create a new directory" then you are having this issue. All that you have to do is click browse and the redirect the installer to the proper loader folder that your official 5.0.0.822 created. It will run just the same but you will have a successful install instead

I had the same issue with YouTube with WB's last hybrid, but this one seems to be working great! I didn't notice the camera bug before, so I don't know if I had the same issue, but it works fine now.

Thanks Willyboy! Keep them coming!

I still get the annoying no sound bug which happens if I preview a few ringtones. Requires a battery pull to get everything working again. I've wiped the device twice, using both the desktop manager and BBSAK before loading the files. Am not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Should this give you access to the games? It says the application isn't compatible with my device and can't be loaded.
