I downloaded rroy's file. I opened apploader to see it there and removed the vendor file, then closed it.

Here are steps:
1) Uninstall any OS currently on your PC
2) Download and install .576 on your PC
3) Delete vendor.XML file after installing .576 on your PC
4) Download rroyy's hybrid folder - save the folder somewhere on your PC where you can find it
5) Copy the files from rroyy's folder and paste them into the java folder that is contained in the .576 base OS
6) Wipe your 9800 if you choose to do so (some people do this - I do - but it is not absolutely necessary
7) Install the OS from your PC into your 9800 using apploader.exe
After .576 is installed, do you know where/how to find it on your PC and locate the java folder?9810 on BL Ultimate AT&T Special V4 - 06-13-2011, 10:27 PM #30Another Day in Paradise

OK - slightly modified instructions:
Here are steps:
1) Uninstall any OS currently on your PC
2) Download and install .576 on your PC
3) Delete vendor.XML file after installing .576 on your PC
4) Download rroyy's hybrid folder - save the folder somewhere on your PC where you can find it
5) Click on rroyy's hybrid file - you should see the .576 file location in the window of rroyy's installer - click install - it will automatically place the hybrid .cod files into the java folder on the base .576
6) Wipe your 9800 if you choose to do so (some people do this - I do - but it is not absolutely necessary)
7) Install the OS from your PC into your 9800 using apploader.exe9810 on BL Ultimate AT&T Special V4 - 06-13-2011, 10:51 PM #33
I downloaded the .576 and removed the vendor file. I downloaded rroyy's hybrid .576 and saved it to the desktop. Then I downloaded rroyy's java file and saved it to the desktop.

Must be because rroyy's hybrid has some .576 .cod files along with the .600 .cod files - I have not actually run his .exe yet, but it should simply install itself into the java folder in the .576 base. Since the rroyy file is only the .cod files, it is not a full OS.

This is the first one I installed: Latest Official 9800 OS 6.0.0.576 from Bharti Airtel.
Then I followed this page by rroyy: http://forums.crackberry.com/f224/to...-576-a-622402/

The original post by rroyy (beginning of this thread) contained this line:
"2) Download 6.0.0.600 java folder that I made - download link"
If you click on download link, it will direct you to a fileshare page where you download his .exe - is that what you did?9810 on BL Ultimate AT&T Special V4 - 06-13-2011, 11:26 PM #44Another Day in Paradise

When I open the java folder, this is what it says: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9800M_v6.0.0.576_P6.6.0.216
I just opened rroyy's java folder and it says to reinstall a fresh copy because most of the files are corrupt.Last edited by laollis; 06-13-2011 at 11:38 PM. Reason: edit

Very weird - as I said, I have not installed rroyy's hybrid yet - I see he is online (he is in Turkey - so daytime over there now) - you might want to PM him and see if he can figure it out.
