You're right. Event log references net_rim_bb_travel_api.cod, I'll try swapping that when I get home and see if it fixes gasBuddy. Personally I use poynt for gas.

I'll try a reboot, though, and report back. Thanks for the help.

EDIT: The re-boot did it. Thank you!
Not a problem

What are the other files in the patch, and are they compatible with Sprint Style 9670?

This Brickbreaker doesn't work for me either.

I made a patch, you can extract the cods to your Java folder or use BBSAK to load them.
Replacing the travel_api.cod doesn't even require a reboot.
Download the patch at http://www.scrapps.tk/blackberry/latesthybrid

Default Frustrated...........strange reboots draining the battery

Arghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm soooo frustrated.

I installed 6.0.0.706 plus OSBBv2 + OSBBv2.5 and then injected a couple of cods to get GasBuddy and Beyond411 running...........and I like the result where my 9650 (Verizon) is running very smoothly, until..........

...........until the power level drops below 40% and then it crashes and ALL the remaining battery power is drained. Tonight, the power level drops to 40% and I'm reading emails, and suddenly a reboot; actually, an endless cycle of reboots because there isn't enough energy left in the battery to complete the boot process.

Yesterday evening, I went to bed and purposefully did not plug in my berry to charge overnight. When I went to bed, the battery level was about 50%. I have QuickPull 5 installed - the free version - and have it set to automatically reboot at 4 am. When I got up at 5:30, my berry was..........dead!

This has happened while playing Bejeweled, while using the browser............not sure at all why this happens. And this was happening both before and after I injected the cods with BBSAK. If its just some strange allergic reaction this particular unit is having, then I guess I'll try the straight, unadulterated OS...........524, 706 or 719.

But before the power level drops to 40%, I like it! It's responsive. It's stable. Everything works. Until..............

Possibly your battery is going bad. I've heard you can get a new replacement battery from eBay for $2. Worth a try.

You may be right. I seem to be the only one having this problem.................it happened again yesterday, as I was talking to someone and got another call, my phone rebooted and couldn't reboot until I recharged it.

So, I bought a new battery on ebay last night when I got home................
