OSBB 600v4 for 9650

Here is the latest build from OSBB. Black Scorpion King is busy with another project so I have volunteered to post this.
This build includes many new 6.0.0.643 and 7.0.0.277 files packed in.
(Thanks to celticberry for making the 643 available.)
Start with a clean 587 or 600 to install over, you know the routine. The build has been tested with 587 and 600 radio files, so use whatever you prefer.
Thank you to King, SCrid, and the outstanding OSBB team for their hard work.

@69 thanx so much for posting this. Also thank you for you hard work on this build.
When 69 says this build is packed, he is not joking. This again is a a True OSBB community build. If you liked 600v3 install this one as it is far superior to that build.
Known issue: PRL on Sprint is still not working. If someone can tell me thae last build it was working on, then I could hopefully narrow down the culprit causing it.

Forgive a newbie. I downloaded the hybrid and ran the program. It said it installed successfully. It started apploader, and took just a few seconds before it said it was updated. Does that sound right, or should I have wiped the OS altogether and loaded from there? I am new to trying hybrids.

I can give you a quick description.
Delete whatever you have in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files. (XP path) .
Reinstall .600 exe. It should say 9650AMEA_v6.0.0.600_P4.4.0.486 in loader files.
Then install the OSBB 600v4. Shrink it as you want.
Delete Vendor.xml in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader and C:\Documents and Settings\"your name"\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML if they are there after shrinking. These may be invisible or hidden.
Launch apploader. If apploader asks you about downgrading, check ok.
Done. - 08-02-2011, 12:46 PM

Yes and 524v1 had the problem. Post #96.
OSBB Community Build - OSBB 9650 524v1
No 6.1 or 7.0 files in version 2. - 08-02-2011, 06:59 PM #21
PRl did work on that build. That post on #96 the guy didn't know how to get to it in the menu and didn't know he had to go to mobile options.
On a side note, does the predictive text work on this? i loaded v3 and it didn't work. i tried injecting the files from 600 and lost my options on all menus.
I'm going to load this up in the morning. Black, if you want me to test some files to see if the prl comes back, pm me a link to the files and i will inject them and let you know how it works. - 08-02-2011, 07:11 PM #22
Yes, Predictive text is working. I also added the files in a post on v3 to fix it. As far as prl I am going to try to compare a build that it was working on to what we have now and see what files may have been different.
Not sure as to how much time I will have to do this as I am working on the release of my OSBB "Top Secret" Hybrid. (Should be released within the next week). - 08-02-2011, 07:12 PM

I've been having some problems with the past 600 releases (v2/v3) resetting (no free msg buffers) and being a bit too buggy for my liking (BBM/BBID connection issues) but .587 coupled with OSBB's 600 releases has phenomenal battery life even on 3G.
Will be loading this one immediately and expecting superior results as BlackScorpion3 has mentioned lol.
