    Default os .862 and hybrids

I run the factory 5.0.0.743 (Rogers) os on my 9700. I was curious as to what, if any, differences would I notice if I were to install the .862 os from another company or even a hybrid os? What are the noticable differences?
    Thanks

Leaked os have certain bug fixes in them that the official ones may not have. I am running the .983 and I love it. You should defiantly try some and see if you like them.

noticeable is in the eye of the beholder, but for most, the differences are so miniscule that they're not. updates are more about having the latest and greatest than anything. that said, it depends on your usage and what you value more in your phone. with some updates, or even downgrades, you might find very slightly better reception, which to most, given the fraction of a degree of change, means little to nothing, but for you could be worlds ahead. it also depends on your device, don't ask why but it seems that every other phone seems to react different to different OS versions. your experience could be day to night when compared to mine on the same OS. i don't know man, my suggestions is to not be a victim of the hype and enjoy your phone, because your inquiry seems to be sparked less of necessity and more of curiosity. ever heard about the cat? just sayin'... why take the chance?

Meh wonder if I can do this with a Mac

Wanna see what's so good with the new OS. Wish they would have a changelog for everyone's sake..

You can do this on a mac if you run Windows on Parallel.

And there are no change logs for leaks.

And change logs can usually be found for each carrier on official releases.
