Installation Guide (by Dnoise)

Before installing a hybrid I recommend doing a wipe of your device! but before that make a backup of all your information and then be restored at the end of the installation!

1. Make a backup with Desktop Manager, of all the data on your device
2. Make a wipe of the device, with BBSAK or any other utility for this purpose (There are several tutorials on the internet if there is any doubt with this step)

3. Download the "Nochoice © Hybrid" of you current device and save in the desktop (Do not Run this yet).
4. Download the NoChoice© MultiPurposeTool
5. Download and install the base operating system of your current device
6. Run the NoChoice© MultiPurposeTool

a) Select your language setup
b) Click on Option 1 - "This will delete the vendor.xml "
c) Now click on Option 2 or 3 depending of your device - "this will delete the Base OS of your current device"

7. Run and install the "Nochoice © Hybrid" of you current device"

8. Now execute the Apploader to start the installation, in this case follow the instructions below:

a) Run the NoChoice© MultiPurposeTool
a) Select your language setup
b) Click on Option 4 - "This will run the AppLoader"

Note: Install the hybrid without any application, after the device starts do a battery pull which is nothing more than pulling off the battery, after the device starts go back to apploader and select the applications you want and once completed will do another battery pull, then this will back to start now to restore the backup you performed at baseline and once restored will do another battery pull.

yes, you need the base for this hybrid. Did you follow the guide in the post?

the only thing that i did not follow is the base OS. which i'd use the .668 OS version since i still have that file during my last upgrade. different than .3049 that you recommended.

please clear me regarding a few things:

1- Yes, that means that you have to download the base os and then install it, after that run the Multipurpose tool and select option 1 then option 3, after that install the hybrid

2-Yes you're right, it means that just install the hybrid without checking anything

3- if you want to use the Os7 theme you will need to check it after the first battery pull, you will find it in the menu of the loader, (you add it like an app ).

i'm using wifi right now, and have no problem.
Can you explain to me what kind of error it's giving to you? i could give to you a better response with that info

I have to eat my words... It's now working great!

However, I am having trouble with berryweather and your os7 theme. when I try to open berryweather it says "uncaught exemption: process is already running" or something like it. Any advice?

Already download the exe on the first page , twice . Both of the exe file , when I double click it to run it , it says Unable to achieve file . Sigh ... Btw , where's the screenie that I asked you about ye ? :S

i did test it. IMO, the reboot time is quite longer compared to official OS that i had use before (.668) and the battery also got an issue which is draining faster, not really fast but faster than before. maybe u need to give some touch on it.

the reboot is quite longer but this hybrid is working for performance and you have to wait until the phone is stabilized for a good battery work

Hi, thanks for your prompt attention! Turns out it isn't because of your theme... I removed os7 theme and still have this problem w/ berryweather. When I restart (batt pull) my 9780 the icon turns to a red umbrella (rather than a black and white umbrella) and when I try to open berryweather it says "uncaught exception: this process is already running" (something like that.) Funny thing is if I delete the app and re-download it appears where it was on my home screen and I don't even have to activate it (code provided by vendor), it just runs as a registered app...

I downloaded the app OTA with a link provided from my account at a mobihand store. Any recommendations?

The exact warning is "Uncaught exception: application already running in this process"

What happened to voice dialing in this hybrid? While I'm trying to figure out the uncaught exception on berryweather after a reboot I noticed voice dialing is listed as "unknown" in the app administration (Opciones>Dispositivo>Administracion de Aplicaciones) Please advice on how to get it back...
