Cool King V3.1.2 (Blissful Edition) 9650

9650 Bliss is what this should be called! This is by far my best release to date. OS is very smooth and fluid.

Install this over a fresh install of 6.0.0.524. This release includes a blend of 466/480/481/486/499 and 524 files.

This has been tested vigoruosly by OpenSourceBB.com staff and several members of Crackberry.com. If you find any issue please report them here.

This is a good build, be sure to do over fresh install of 524 as King says.

I have been running this since Friday. It is smooth and fast. Battery is pretty good and I have no issues at all. Browser iis faster than v3 and transitions are smooth.
    Great hybrid. Thanks again!

I was also using it Thursday. This is wicked fast. Great transitions, battery life, no memory loss to speak of. The only issue for me is that it uses the 438 radio from 524, and that radio doesn't always format web pages correctly. For example, the forums pages here on CB don't render well. As a simple fix, many are using Opera Mini to access the forums pages.

This is a great build. Definitely worth loading.

Thanks for your latest hybrid King. So far it is running very well. I'm one of those who use opera mini to access certain sites and the CB forum is #1 on that list. My previous issue with the straight 524 leak was my cam would not snap the shot occasionally. Irritating as sometimes ya get one chance. But anyway, so far so good with the cam. Love the smoothness and speed of the transitions. The browser is great for most sites. I'll post back if any issues crop up. Awesome work!

Was looking for this last night but apparently it dropped right after I went to bed. When I saw it this morning I knew what I would be doing at work today if it was slow. Well I have been running this since about 11am and so far its great.

Yeah, I posted it up late last night. Glad everything is working out well for you on this build. Like I said, I feel this is my best build yet.

LOL, I love that comment. I do think this is a quick OS build also, and am very happy with the results that I have gotten from both performance, wise and battery life.

I have not had this issue on either straight 524 or this build. Hope you dont experience it again. Would love to hear your feedback after you run this for a few.

My phone runs better and faster than ever with your builds! I can't imagine how this could be better than 3.0. Can't wait to get to work and load this up

Load this up early this morning. Running well so far. The OS is even snappier than the previous King version. More later on battery life and what not for those interested.

Has anyone had any issues installing this one. I have V3 installed without an issue but for some reason V 3.1.2 will not install correctly. For some reason Loader will not load, it starts up but keeps crashing. Any thoughts, thanks.

Thanks for this hybrid, it is running very smooth. This is the first time I can honestly say the browser in 6.0 feels 'zippy". Appreciate your hard work!

King. Saw your tweet about v4 coming soon. If you need more testers I'd be up for giving it a try.

Trying to talk my wife into letting me install your hybrid on her 9650. So far she has only ran official releases and seems to have alot more issues than I do running yours.

    Keep em coming.

    Default camera focus

has anyone fixed the problem of having pictures often corrupting with banded lines while using the side button to prefocus? every version of 6 has this on all of my 9650s.

I am not sure what you mean by this as I have never had any issues with my camera.

This Hybrid is the best!! Really is the best the I've ever used. Its SO fast! And the battery life is a big improvement. When I used straight .524 and at night when I go to bed its fully charged. And when I woke up. Its down to 45%. 55% down overnight. But with this hybrid I only get 5% down in my battery. And the browser is fast than other leaks/hybrid that I've used in the past. I regret it that i didn't load this sooner. Its worth it to load. Double thumbs up! Thanks @BlackScorpion3!!

I have heard another had this problem too. I will post an example today, but if you pre-focus with the side button, and then proceed to take the picture using the side button, it will often record a random, horizontal, colored, stripe across the frame. It is usually only a pixel or two in height. This wont happen if taking the picture with the trackpad (or if using version 5 with either button).

sometimes it takes 5-10 pictures before I see the anomaly, but always seems to happen on pictures I want to keep. Sometimes I don't notice it until I view on a larger monitor.
