What are the benefits of this hybrid? Hows the speed (Browser and screen naviagtion)? Battery Life? I noticed the new 6.1 files, and want to know if they bring anything better then the 6.1.0.7 files.

No offense was intended. I assume he meant will they work in his hybrid, and I have no way of knowing if they would or not. He said he's running a bthm, bthm is made by kyle - if you're kyle too, than he'd have to ask the other kyle lol.
By no means do I think he's asking my permission. Even if I was the first person to leak these files, I recognize that I have absolutely no ownership rights that would necessitate asking my permission to use them.
I appreciate BBH+ obtaining these files, but I'd be much more inclined to thank them if they actually released them, rather than letting their VIP hybriders use them and leaving the people who make free hybrids to wait until the VIPers release their hybrids.
That being said, I always do give credit when credit is due. Mainly to RIM, for making the files in the first place
Like I said in my first post, thanks for the 6.1 files. - 02-25-2011, 09:21 PM #9
Just wanna say to irtehun, I been using your Hybrid for the past 3hrs, gotta say everything is running smooth so far, no problems what so ever! As for Battery life, can't really comment, its till too early, good or bad, it dont matter to me, as i only use my Torch for Texting, Calling and Web Browsing, dont consider myself a heavy user, plus i got a charger for my Torch everywhere I go
So its all good. Awesome Work!

So I installed the hybrid, no other software installed on the computer, shrank the os, then ran app loder and I'm getting a message in the app loader saying that I have no software installed for my device. But I go to the shared folder and I see the hybrid there.

Did you install it over top of .450? Try restarting your computer, and if that doesn't work start the process over again. I got it to work first go and I think it's really good. Except the BBM still has the cursor bug so I made a little hybrid BBM for myself. Works nicely though, I've noticed some improvement on everything. Except I can't judge the battery quite yet.

got it to work now. Not sure what I was doing wrong there. I'm having some issues with connection I think for Data and what not. The weather channel app is not working and some others. I'm going to have to do a couple of battery pulls and see where it takes me. Thanks for the help.

Yeah I don't know what was wrong with my phone earlier but everything seems to be working now. I couldn't get berry weather to update and the weather channel to work either. But right now everything is good. I must say its damn fast. The browser and the touchscreen. Battery too has improved over the hybrid I was running before. So far no issues with any app, and I tried them all. I will post update in 2 days.
Thanks a lot man. So far it does seem like the best hybrid so far
