Thx for the quick update. Just installed 1.3 two days ago and now its 1.4!!!! What do you mean "Final"? Do you mean you are not developing the hybrid anymore? Personally I love your hybrid..

Looking for feedback from anyone using this after a while. .486 default lags pretty often in certain scenarios (closing out the browser, sometimes when deleting text in the browser URL). Does this hybrid fix that issue in .486?

Going to give it a shot. If it fixes the lag issues in .486 it will be very nice.

Hmm, seems like there's a bug with the camera. After pressing the camera I can't do anything, no buttons respond at all...
Update: False alarm, fixed it... When installing the OS net_rim_bb_file_explorer_library.cod failed to install due to some error message. This basically broke the file explorer library which the camera uses on launch, which caused it to lock up and encounter an exception eventually.
I just reinstalled net_rim_bb_file_explorer_library.cod using bbsak to the device and now it works great. So far it seems like this hybrid fixes the .486 lag....Last edited by papped; 03-23-2011 at 08:26 PM.

Downloaded and installing right now. Will comment in a while with how everything is, besides battery. Thanks for the Hybrid! Hoping you're as good as they seem to say you are!

Well, firstly, it booted up faster then any hybrid I've used. Signal stability has never been a problem so I can't comment on that area. Browser seems fast, not sure if it's any faster then my previous hybrid but it's good. Everything does seem smoother, with no lag. Haven't even seen the hourglass yet, and I usually do on hybrids after installing them. For now, I'm pretty satisfied. Will post back in 2 or 3 days commenting on the battery life.

yea hopefully someone can comment on battery life. i still see between 4-6% an hour discharge as shown in meterberry when just using BBM every few minutes. i feel i should be able to be somewhere in the 2-4% per hour mark. so if anyone can comment on battery life, that would be great.

Ok, so installed 1.4 and everything went smooth and feels smooth, more better than 1.3. 1.3 had a lot of freezing and lagging in the very begining where as 1.4 didn't have this problem. Just wanna say Thanks and Awsome Job. As for Battery Life? Can't say! Only had this hybrid on for a couple of Hours. Hope its better? Like I said the last time, battery life on .486 is terrible, hopefully this hybrid will helpout?

Less than 24 hours. But, I've had a lot worse.

This is just to indicate that the rates can get better but- as stated, depends on different variables with each individual user.Last edited by Blacklatino; 03-25-2011 at 05:18 AM.

So far the general os speed and browser speed are very good, and as mentioned before this seems to fix the .486 lag problems.

My 3g signal indoors seems much better now with this OS. Previously I would get like 1 bar with low network speeds, now its much better.
