    Default Berrylicious V3, multi devices 9300/ 97xx/ 9800

Thanks to my bro iking and my big family over at bzone. We have now come to the next installment of the berrylicous series, V3, which supports multiple devices (9300, 97xx and 9800)

This hybrid uses 6.0.0576 SFI, with the majority of 600 cods, with some of the 6.1.xx and 7.xx cods also, including the latest leaked 7.0.0.187 leak for the newer devices.

The points of difference in this hybrid are:

    1. Less memory and battery drain, speedy boot up time, and speedy browser.
    2. Blackberry messenger hybrid by ВЯő° iking
    3. GPS, bluetooth, 3G and wifi locks faster than standard or leaked OS.
    4. Responsiveness.

Apps that come standard with this hybrid are (you can tick what you want)
    1. Our own BlackBerry Messenger hybrid
    2. AppWorld 2.1.2.19
    3. BlackBerry Bridge 1.0.0.83
    4. BlackBerry Protect 1.0.10.25
    5. Facebook 1.9.0.28
    6. Social Feeds 1.0.0.58
    7. Maps 6.0.0.31
    8. Podcasts 1.0.0.51
    9. Google Talk 2.5.85
    10. MSN 2.5.85
    11. Yahoo Messenger 2.5.85
    12. Youtube 1.0.0.37
    13. DocumentsToGo v2.0005.105 key code required for full version
    14. PDFToGo v2.0005.105 key code required for full version
    15. CaptureIt 1.4
    16. UberSocial 1.2
    17. Ringtones OS7

This hybrid has been shrunk, you can shrink further at your own risk.

    Installation instructions:

    1. Download & Install Base Os6 for 9700/9800 (official/leaked)
    example: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200\

    2. Delete "VENDOR.XML" in folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader\
    3. Wipe the entire base OS located in, for example: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200\ ...(note, only delete what's INSIDE the folder)
    4. Download and install berrylicious multi.exe into the base OS folder, for example C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200\
    5. Fully backup your blackberry with desktop manager, with radios off.
    6. Backup your apps using VNBButil/BBMC
    7. Wipe your device with JL_CMDR / BBSAK / VNBBUtil
    8. Run C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader\loader.exe
    9. Select what you need to install carefully to optimise free memory.
    10. With radios off, restore your apps and .ipd backup with dm, important as this is required by full BBM 6 hybrid to function, and then do a battery pull.
    11. Fully restore your backed up data, then do another battery pull.
    12. Enjoy your hybrid, give it a minimum of 4 hours before you do another battery pull.
    13. For best result, do 3 battery pulls a day, 6 hours a part for the first 48 hours.

    Mediafire link

    Multiupload link

Other languages support can be found on our Berrylicious 2 thread.

    NOTE:

Have added .461 ribbon app cod for those wanting to run custom themes and having issues with home screen preferences. Download, put in Java folder IF you want to run custom OS5 like theme. .600 ribbon app cod runs smoother on trayed themes.

    Feedback welcomed and appreciated.

    Donations greatly accepted also!

JUST when I had Installed Road Runner Hybrid & was getting settled... You release V3. NO COMPLAINTS!! Will try it ASAP

    I am loving this Backup-Wipe-Base OS-Hybrid OS-Install Process.
Was a bit apprehensive.. but YOU introduced me to the wonderful World of Hybrid OS for BlackBerry. Thanks

I must be familiar to you now... The guy with the abrupt/absurd Loss of Data Network!.

I have narrowed down the problem to "Location".. Everything works well Until I approach the "Cursed" Area. In this area.. my 3rd Party Apps get a Java IO Exception Error & refuse to work anymore EVEN AFTER leaving the area. They
Can't even latch on to WiFi!! THIS is what I find freaky!

Eg: TuneIN Pro (when working) can dynamically Switch to the Available Data Streaming! (i.e. If I am using "edge" & Switch-ON WiFi... TuneIN automatically switches to WiFi.. How awesome is that!)

However, after passing through the Cursed Area... Every Third Party App just cannot connect to ANY Data Stream (edge or WiFi). ONLY after a Battery Pull.. 3rd Party Apps can connect to available Data Stream (edge or WiFi)

I just cannot avoid passing through this Area. BUT, Zocster.. What do you think?

Can I send you an Error Log or something? so that you can at "Diagnose / Decipher" what is happening... If yes... please tell me HOW to do it.

    DIFFERENT TOPIC:

    To prevent an accidents:

    Suppose I have installed a Base OS C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200\.

    Deleted everything INSIDE 9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200
    Installed Berrylicious V2 INSIDE 9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200
Wiped BB & installed on BB.

NOW, I want to Install Berrylicious V3.

    Should I follow this Procedure:
    A) Click on Uninstall.exe which is Located in the 9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200 Folder?
Then AGAIN install Base OS & follow the steps u provided.
    OR
    B) Use Add/Remove ... Uninstall Program Feature of Windows to "Uninstall"
Then AGAIN install Base OS & follow the steps u provided.
    OR
    C) Simply delete everything INSIDE 9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200
    & Install the Berrylicious V3 INSIDE 9700Asia_v6.0.0.534_P6.6.0.200
Wipe BB & Run Loader.exe to Install on BB

Hi, I suggest you work with base leak/official OS first. See what is best for you. Have you tried .534 radio? .461 also was good to me. Try those first and I can point you to good hybrids using those radios

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com

On the next question you have,

Wipe the content of your base os folder. Run BL installer point it inside the base OS which content you have deleted

    Thanks for the reply.

Which are the CODs responsible for Network [is it: net_rim_networkapi ??]
If yes.. your current release of V3 has of OS7.

I shud use BBSAK / Crackutil to inject the COD in BB OR.. Copy/Paste the CODs (from .534/.461) inside the JAVA Folder BEFORE installing on BB right?

Can you please spare the relevant CODs to inject?
    ****************************************
Your second point is well taken.. I will ONLY delete what is inside the [already modified] Base OS folder & Point the installer to this location.

    Ohh OK

I tried Base OS 5 [5.0.0.1014].. Then Base OS 6 (6.0.0.576).. then I also tried the latest Leak 6.0.0.600.

The problem of abrupt loss of Network was common.. However, I could not pinpoint HOW / WHEN it happened.. But after a number of tests & observations.. I stumbled upon this "Cursed Network".

I am currently use Road Runner Hybrid.. Same Problem.. But After Crossing the "Cursed Area".. I did a Battery Pull & the Apps are working absolutely fine.

I have lost my browser (Seems no Service Book is Present) & Surprisingly, my BB shows Registered (Under HRT) with Vodafone! THIS never happened in the Past!

    Hi Zocster,

Is it neccessary to wipe clean the bb and then install. I use to use Kyle's Hybrid and all I did was wipe the folder and load the hybrid and then did the loader.

Can it be done with yours or is it mandatory to wipe the unit.

    Just finished downloading.

Many thanks for the great work and for the Mediafire link, Zocster!

Hope to be able to load onto my 9700 this time sometime on Sunday (fingers crossed) for the v2 hates my 9700 and won't install. Btw, have you ever figured out what's wrong since I've posted the screen capture of where I installed the v2, zocster?

just loaded this on my 9700. any reasons why you suggest waiting 6hrs between battery pulls?

before with other hybrids i would do numerous reboots/battery pulls during the first day or first few hours

Its been a day since I upgraded to this version. All I can say is "WOW". This hybrid really works for me. Though, I've encountered many issues in the beginning (on 9800). The BBM included here doesn't fit well to my device, such as slow loading of groups, missing chat history, Mr. Smiley isn't in correct position, and a blue thing when you hover on Mr. Smiley. I already encountered the last two issues on .88. Then, I tried injecting some necessary cods like the qm_peer_images .105 but no luck and I was shocked when I saw the result. Mr. Smiley turns into big icon about a size of a cent lol. Until I decided to install and went back to a hybrid BBM. It worked good but through out the day, still experiencing some lagg issue and groups recovery is very slow. Then, finally this time I install BBM Beta .111 (for the Nth time). Everything went back to normal. Its like having a new BlackBerry phone. Well, this is just me, on my 9800. Again, double thumbs up to both of you Zoc and iking!

The BBM™ for this hybrid will take a while to settle down. Trust me, I've been using this hybrid for about 2 days now and BBM™ settles down after the first day. It's worth the wait as a chat with 23+ people will load in less than a second.

Just do a batt pul every 6 hours, make sure you install all apps correctly and this hybrid will work very quickly! I had about 6 tabs open at the same time, facebook mobile, crackberry forum, 2 websites were for my university, and youtube and cb blog. Was scrolling through them all and no error or crash.
