Unless v4 turns my phone into a pizza and sixpack of beer at midnight, it's going to be tough to outdo v3.

My phone is completely settled and ADR with moderate to light usage is ~1.00% on average, idle is always under that. Temps are supper stable without any large fluctuations--about 25C.

Thanks as always to BL and friends.

ok users, here we are, the Pizza and Beers is in the house,

I know we have had a delay while we had the New BL Returns v1.0 development
    and testing.

Here is the new Berrylicio.us AT&T v4 Mix, new and improved and running the best of the Java
available over the 7.1.0.694 radio, specially for the AT&T network users:

I'm running the RC8 right now, but may go to this, as I can no longer change my networks (2gvs3g etc) on any of the 7 series OS

EDIT: Is that just the Java in the hybrid?

A little late with findings report - but I have been testing V4 for nearly 4 days now - findings:

    * Very fast and responsive - no lag whatsoever in UI or opening or using apps
    * No problem with any native or 3rd party apps (and I run a lot of apps)
    * Idle ADRs have been in the 1-1.25% range
    * ADRs with heavy phone, email and SMS usage - have been in the 1.75-2.25% range
    * Very fast boot up (yes, I shrink - but still faster than any of the previous 7.1s I have run)
    * I run a ton of apps that could be resource drainers (BeWeather, BePopUp, Vlingo, etc.) - yet still incredibly low ADRs
    * I can not comment on the native browser due to a compatibility issue between the native browser and one or more of my 3rd party apps - I use Opera Mini)
    * BES sync was the fastest I have ever experienced
    * Good call quality and use of signal - no dropped calls and consistent signal strength
    * BBM seems faster in response than I have seen previously

I am totally happy and impressed with this build.

EXCELLENT JOB, ZOCSTER AND THE BL TEAM!!!

    Hey Walter,

Have you looked at Advance OS and LED - this is a multi-function/multi-feature app that includes, among many other things, colored LED function. The colored LED function in .746 gives you 6 colors total (the traditional green, blue and red plus 3 more) - but that is all the new feature adds.

Advance OS, on the other hand, gives you tons of colors (including custom) - also gives you the ability to adjust the blink rate, have multiple colors together on an event, allows you to assign different colors to different contacts, etc.

And as I said - the LED function is only one of the things Advacne AOS does - check it out on App World. There is a free version and a paid version - the free version has pretty much the same things as paid - so you can check it out and then purchase the paid version ($1.99) if you like it.

I have heard of that app but haven't tried it. I was wondering if V4 includes that feature from the .746 OS.

I can not directly answer your question - I went from V2 straight to testing V4 - but, check out my V4 finding report a few posts back.

With V2 I felt there was room for improvement and V3 is much better than V2 for me, but with V3 I really don't know what could be improved. I will try V4 anyway, however, as I always have to have the latest and greatest.

I don't know if I did something wrong or there was something done wrong in the creation of V4, but under "about device versions" it says the OS version is .714, but under alt+shift+h it lists the OS as .746. Not a big deal, but I'm sure it was supposed to say .746 under both.

No, you did it Ok. , couldn't change both to show OS 746, causes some errors with 694 sfi.

Holy @*#% V4 is amazing! I've had it installed for maybe an hour and already it is blazing fast. Truly the pinnacle of the 9900 OS (That is unless you guys release a V5)
