OK.. that explains why I had previously downloaded it. It's the same OS hybrid that I previously installed. Returns 2 was awesome also. That leaves AT&T 4 which I haven't checked out. It would be amazing that the BL team keeps us hoping with one hybrid, but to do it with 3, actually 4 if you count the OS6 version... unbelievable guys! Thanks again!!

That said when Sator returns from his well deserved rest i will certainly test his new work.

hahahahahaa....Thanks BoldAlways, IMO Zocs and Ian will agree that this week is the right time to release RC8B1, since we might have the next OS/leaked higher than .755 pretty soon.

well I installed RC8A1 on my bold 9790 with .746 and I am getting an average of 4% ADR. I will be reverting back to .714 RC7A1 where I was getting a comfortable ADR of 2.35% even with high usage.

Nothing wrong with it, just that the majority of people seem to be getting better results with the .714 .sfi.

It's down to which one works best for each individual, different carriers produce different results for the same .sfi

Thes sure is something wrong if your GF has got a Bold 9810 though !!!

No problem at all; goshko. Some people like to use the sfi from base. If that gives them good results, excellent. I tend to use the sfi´s i trust... If i recall correctely one of the Team uses .746 sfi with excellent results. It´s up to you to search for the better outcame to you.

I know right, i`ve read only bad things about this hybrid on 9810 devices but for some reason my GF is getting 1.3% with .746 base and she is on the same network as mine (Telus).

Default BerryLicio.us Ultimate hybrid for most OS 7.1 devices

All I know is, I went from RC5B2 to RC8A1 on my 9900, and the difference in speed/fluidity in every way is definitely noticeable. I've had it on here since the day it came out, and everything from seeing the watch less, to the phone starting up, to jumping on networks, to web browsing, to installing apps in AppWorld, etc. Works very well for me! No hot battery or anything like that. I've only had one freeze/auto-reboot while I was messing around in Advance LED and OS. Can't imagine it getting any better...

    Thank you for your work!!!

I am back to RC7B2 from Return2 because of Battery discharge rate. I was getting continiously more than 6 on both RC8A1 and Return2.

Battery wise that was a exceptional build... However odd, i´m getting good results in testing Returns 2

    Ps: Just saw... Different devices.

Have you tested RC7B1, need a comparison between it and rc7B2, i will be trying rc8A1 tonight because although it is awesome, battery dies super fast when in use. On idle its great and its very respnsive and all. I'm just looking for a hybrid that will work great on .714 base + sfi coz that is what gives me cool temps. .746 base or sfi both push the temps to 40degrees + and what's worse I live in a tropical place and we are in the summer season so i'm really concerned of the temps. So far best build FOR ME is .714 base +sfi with RC7B1 (havent testyed rc7b2 extensively) However if someone suggests RC7B2 as better than RC8 then i will go with that - using a torch 9810.

PS. I see if we use 714 base then we need to add
    net_rim_bb_phone_qchatptt_resources.cod

However I also notice the line below...
    net_rim_bb_virtual_keyboard_layout480x640

    Does that mean anything?

Back to .714 + RC7B1 on my 9790 from .746 RC8A1 and what a difference in ADR ... I was getting a constant 4% drain rate on .746 + RC8A1 whereas now I am getting 1.3% with .714 RC7B1 ... It sure is the best combo for me right now at the moment !
