New! Bee_4n v.4a Hybrid For 9700
hi, I from indonesian, iwant to share my os hybrid here. thank you before
In this Hybrid I not only do the modifications to the java file, but also on the file alx. more or less influential for its stability and performance, and the modification is more emphasis on memory management, battery and reliable performance. Typical and specifications of this hybrid before, during and after the installation is as follows:
1. SFI amounted to 30.92 mb file can be found at Radio folder
2. Mix Java 329 / 357 / 358 / 359
3. About: 6.0.0.358 and app version (escreen): 6.0.0.359
4. Include CJK
5. Language pack available only English language
5. Base OS that is used freely, provided that belonged os 9700
6. The additional feature to select the features you want to use when installing os
7. Congenital os bugs still exist, but is minimized to the maximum extent possible
Content Module on this Hybrid can be viewed in the attachment

2.Install 9700 Base OS to your PC / Notebook
3.Delete vendor.xml in the directory C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Research In Motion \ AppLoader
4.Delete all the content in the Base folder on your OS (Which in delete: Folders Java, UMTS, and all the files. Alx) so that the base os folder is empty.
Hybrid
5.Extract into the "Base OS Folder" in the directory: C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Research In Motion \ Shared \ Loader Files \ "name your OS Base Folder" \ (results similar to extract the files to be deleted in point 4 above)
6.Shrink os (Optional, but highly in recommend) to relieve the memory capacity
7.Backup all your data and your 3rd party app
8.Wipe device using jlcmdr or other software
9.Execute loader.exe in the directory: C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Research In Motion \ AppLoader
10.After finished Restore back all your data and your 3rd party app.
Attention:
1.Pull batt at least 3 times after a restore applications, data and restore the picture in fuel, so that the module is integrated perfectly. do batt pull within 2 days after installation
Lag time restore contact and pic bbm possibilities exist,,
2.Maybe after reloading your os will experience battery drain seemed wasteful of approximately 1 to 2 days, and it is commonplace in the early days after the reload the os, because traffic would be so very busy for the process of restoring data2, as well as os adjustment with hh .. so do not be a reference benchmark for review.
Thx, please advice and review
sorry I use a translator because my English is not good, but I will try to answer properlyLast edited by bee_4n; 11-27-2010 at 12:24 PM.

All of them are nice... You can always read the reviews from users who have had already them running on their devices. Not to worry, because that's what reviews are for

Bravo Indonesian builders! If desired, you can always click the 'Thanks' button

It's all bullsh!t - all they did was change the .sfi file name and then modified the Platform.alx file so it would load to the device.
Instead of shrinking the java file it's cool they took the time to make .alx files to let us choose which .cod(s) get loaded to the device but other then that it's just like all the other hybrids thats been out now...Last edited by lucky45; 11-27-2010 at 04:43 AM.

Why do every time a good hybrid came out (especially built by Indonesian) I sense tons of hate spams from other hybrid builders in the forum?
Some jealousy (bad competition), I suppose?

I really believe none of you know english enough to understand what's we're saying... No one is bad mouthing anyone - all I'm doing is pointing out the fact that a .sfi file can't be modified.
UNLESS YOU WORK FOR RIM YOU CAN NOT MODIFLY A .SFI! ALL YOU CAN DO IS CHANGE THE NAME OF THE .SFI AND REWRITE THE PLATFORM .ALX SO IT WILL LOAD TO THE DEVICE.
Building hybrids and sharing with everyone is GREAT but telling people you modified the .sfi files is not...
If modifying a .sfi was possible then we'd be able to put OS6 on every device RIM makes...

LOL - Like this isn't trolling? What a useless post...
Maybe the 'CrackBerryDoctor' would like to JOIN this discussion and explain to everyone how a .sfi can be modified? Also since you seem to be such an expert how come you haven't tweaked some .sfi files so we could load OS6 on all of RIM's other devices? Come on 'CrackBerryDoctor' enlighten us with your wisdom...
