    Cool BBB78 81xx/83xx/88xx v5.1



    Well here it is, the public release of version 5.1!

    You can download it from driphter.com:

    for 88x0: BBB78 88x0 v5.1

    for 83x0: BBB78 83x0 v5.1

    for 81x0: BBB78 81x0 v5.1

    This hybrid is a mix of your base OS (4.5.0.17x or 4.5.0.18x)
    and 4.6.1.320, 5.0.0.1049, 6.0.0.431, and 6.1.0.7 (Curve Sedona files)

    Even thou I now havea 9780, I still keep my 8310 updated!

    In the installer you can change the destination folder to .188, just select .187 but then change the destination folder to:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8310-v4.5.0.188_P2.7.0.110\Java

    Hi, I tried installing this today. I'm not sure if I did it correctly.
    When you check the OS version in Options>About and Alt+Shift+Del, is it supposed to show a different version number? Because mine still shows the base OS version number. Thanks.

    Hi, I have a 8120 running os 4.5 . If I Install this will it let you run apps designed for higher os versions (e.g. os 4.6)
