Appreciate your help, but unfortunately, this does not resolve the photo rendering lag on a 9700. Those 3 CODs do not appear to be the cause of this lag on the 9700. If anyone develops a fix for for the 9700 please let us know...Cheers!

This build is so good and steady that I am willing to live with this lag issue. It is really that good, thus far.

I continue looking for a resolution to this problem, because it bothers me too.

Several of my previous builds were not plagued by this issue, but unfortunately I can't remember which ones...so I have to try to figure out when things were smooth in media rendering and look at my massive spreadsheet of build data.

Be assured, though, I am working on this.

    Cool Beans

Another thing i have noticed about Agile is it gives an improved Playbook Bridge Browser experience ( using the 9700). Its either the radio file of .723 or the java mix or both...but the pass-through 3G connection is working much better.

    Thanks again!

I'm just curious. Can I use Adrenaline files and then overwrite it with Agile files? Adrenaline for me is one of the strongest release for my 9780. Is it ok to combine both release and then copy the Java folder to base .723 ?? will i encounter any problems?

Are these custom 6 themes. I have been getting the same error since a long time. Have tried various stock, hybrids and still got the error. With the new 580 mysteriously vanished.

OK. Played with it for a few days on my 9700. Definitely a lot faster with switching apps and browsing with much fewer closed tabs, battery drain is more accurate (that 30% drop to 0% bug is gone!). Spinning clock frequency is the same but is definitely shorter when I get them - until around 24 hours when memory seems to run out. I need to do a batt pull every 24 hours because the phone simply freezes which I think is due to the memory leak - never happened with the stock OS build. Still a good tradeoff for me - batt pull every night for improved phone performance on a 3 year old device is reasonable.

This build will not work on the 9790. My hybrids are for OS6 only - the 9790 is an OS7 device. Sorry.

Good job Wu. But i wanna know the difference between the Aethereal build and this current Agile. I still use Aethereal and it works great. If i should switch, there should be a good reason to do so. Thanx

As Wu said this is strictly for OS6 only, it will not work on OS7 and OS7.1.

Anyway for OS7 users i think shrinking OS should be more than suffice for you! You have more than enough on-board memory

Aethereal is using 7.0.0.523 and Agile is using 7.0.0.569 cods.

You meant 7.1.0.523 and 7.1.0.569 cods, right?

The primary differences between Aethereal and Agile are the 7.1.0.x cods that were used.

I would have to check my notes, but there may be a few other minor tweaks in there as well.

My upcoming build is aimed at completely eliminating a few lingering issues and eking out the best possible performance and efficiency.

I've just registered to post thanks. This is the first hybrid or otherwise modified OS I've ever loaded on my 9800. I put this on over the top of 723 and it has made a huge difference to my phone. So much so that I'll probably stop looking for a cheap 9810 to upgrade to until this one dies.

Very, very nice work wu-wei. Thanks a _lot_!

Me neither, no problems previewing photos at all. the freezing bug has also disappeared when I deleted just one more app. Now the phone is stable and quite snappy and has lasted 3 days so far with no reboot... see how long I can push it for
