Hi all,

I seems to see some people whom installed either hybrid, and some get high ADR and some get extremely low ADR.
Just wondering if apps installed do have any influence on the ADR
I just want to share what apps I have installed, and currently with RC8 I am getting 2-3% ADR

The latest WhatsApp has been giving SOME high ADRs, but only occasionally. I don't believe BeJoose actually works, despite paying $0.99 for it.

The reason i don't use app world would have to be put down to the fact that if you later want to uninstall, some issues have been known to arise, sites like KingKong and AppKita - BlackBerry Ota - BlackBerry AppWorld have links for your phone that can save you time and energy(may want to bookmark those)

Agreed, it's working smoothly, mem has been a bit high though.

I think the key to WhatsApp is to "Exit" unless you're typing, you should still get messages, and then just respond to them and exit once more. unless you're having a longer conversation.

I believe it´s the best way to lower drain using whatsapp... As for ambage looking good! When did you loaded it? Temp is a bit high also... Been bridging?

i've never had any hybrid run under 28, i loaded ambage just over 24h ago.

the fact that i'm a "DriveSafe.ly always in background, WiFi always on" person could attribute to this.

Mine is at 19 Celsius, still looking pretty good good job!

Mine can get to that low, or lower, during overnight idling, but heats up as i use it. I no longer notice if it's warmer or cool due to my case.

Even during working day it gets low temperatures, only when it´s more used (usually during long calls) temp goes up to the 27>31.

It must be related to different devices. I tend to use "cooler" sfi´s because even in this device some sfi´s have higher working temperature.

My app list is fairly long but the app I find causes the most contribution to higher than normal ADR is Visual Voicemail. No choice if I want that voice mail service from Rogers. Great in theory but the app is brutal on CPU use and always needs to be shut down by App Resource Monitor. My ADR tends to range 3.5 to 5.5 despite significant improvement by BL hybrids.

You should be able to shrink out visual voicemail by removing the .cod files associated with it.

Thanks but I'm not looking to shrink it out. I'm using the service & being very patient with the lag that it causes on my 9900.
