After Installing this Hybrid on my 8520 my keyboard back light no longer works when the phone is booted up, but comes on during boot up from a battery pull, then doesn't come on once the OS is fully booted. Any suggestion on how to solve this problem without having to downgrade to OS 5.0.0.822?

First boot time: 5:36
Second boot time: 3:30
lots of 938 and 962 files with some mix of os6 files. over all its gud..no lag..its very smooth and phone feels fast. Wifi connected super fast...browser is working great...Will report later abt battery life and other aspects in few days.Don’t rub the lamp if you don’t want the genie to come out.

I'm about to download your OS in order to speed up my Bold 9000. I have a question that i hope you don't find silly. Will this new OS show the date BEFORE the month as i want it, or will it revert to the U.S. style of date AFTER the month which i don't want. Thanks for a quick reply.

Just got it installed. First thing I noticed was the incredible amount of memory available after a battery pull. 31.9MB. I'll see how long that lasts. I usually got to running in the low teens / single digits with my prev. 5.0.x install.
Edit.
Got all my apps installed. Just did a restart and my memory is at 27meg. Which is still a massive improvement over where I have been with any stock OS.
Boot time was about the 4:25 mark. I'm hoping that's going to improve a little as it settles in.Last edited by todbanner; 10-14-2010 at 10:15 AM.

I use this hybrid, that is very nice thank you for your work.
Only one very ennoying bug: When I try to call a number that I type (not in my adress book), the call can not be started...
Can call only my adress book, and number in link I find on internet.
I need to save every number I have to call.
Is anybody reaching the same issues ?BB BOLD 5.0.0.190
French user who has just sold its ******* Storm for the Bold
