Will be installing tonight, will be reporting on battery life.
Happy to finally see a 7.1 with decent battery life.

it still has a battery drain at first , not as bad as before , but the drain is do to the SFI files (radio) that cant be fixed until the next OS leak or drop, with that being said after it drops to 92ish it is very stable and snappy and runs well

screen still says .163 but overall i'm liking this hybrid better than stock 163. better battery life but still bugs in the os. we just need a good leak to come out since vzw decided to release the same os as sprint weeks later.

Installed this as well. Running very smoothly--seems to be better than stock 163. Have to run for a while to see how battery is.

Installed today. What I did was install over my stock 163 directory then shrink, then install via Loader. Running smooth with 230mb free storage after re installing my applications and 44% free memory. No comment on battery life yet, but seems to be comparable to the stock 163.

so ive had this on my 9930 for a day or two and i must say that when idle, my bb holds onto battery MUCH better than it ever did before. having said that, the 100-92 drop is still very much there. and, i never noticed before but when i have my phone plugged in over night, at times the battery will just instantly drop from 100 to 92 and with in a few minutes it will be back to 100...is the battery really dis/charging like this? or is it just an OS glitch? cuz if not, that can't be good for the battery...but anywho.. im pleased thank you!

It has been in 7.1 and either is a glitch or intentional. Doesn't seem to effect anything in my experience.

Yes I have had 7.1 since it was available. Overall, from full charge to dead battery, my battery is better with 7.1. I doubt that it's intentional since its an official release.

Just wondering, would it not be worth trying phone_dc_resources.cod from an os7 build known to have good battery life to see if the battery drop is a glitch and not an actual occurance?

Hey Mike
I took your hybrid and replaced all the 190 files with the newer 205 files it seems the device boots and operates pretty good, I was wondering if you will be releasing a newer hybrid with more 205 files than what I listed above
