i found this site, and decided to give it a go. it made my phone faster that was the first thing i noticed. thought id share this with crackberry. go to the link to download the Hybrid and there are really easy instructions on how to install it. very easy process. i recomend trying it i did and now my phone is faster than it was before. i have alot more memry on my Torch, which like i said made my phone alot faster.

Instructions:
1. Install official OS 6.0.0.141 to PC
2. Install this Hybrid over 6.0.0.141 folder using this installer
2a. Shrink your OS if you want
3. Install to phone
3a. For best results, do 2-3 battery pulls and allow 24-48 hour "settling" time

- Shrink-A-OS (Optional, but recommended)

How are you finding the track pad with it? I installed it earlier today and found my trackpad wasn't responding well.... Maybe I will have to try installing it again..

well my trackpad is working fine i havent had n e complaints so far, since i installed this. i used the shrink my OS and that madee it even faster and got me alot of free memory. the echo on my phone during phone calls is gone. and the lag well i never had that much of it but i havent has since then.

I downloaded this a few days ago, was waiting for some feedback before an install.
A couple ppl @ BBHybrids reported this "bug" as well.

Looks like the OP posted it in the 9800 forum (wrong place for a hybrid post) and then a mod moved it to the proper (beta OS) forum. The mod should have combined the two identical threads while he/she was at it...or locked this one.
