Default Is there a way to disable the GPS service with a toggle?

I noticed a lot of people having issues with their battery. On the iPhone, it was easy to fix the battery issue - turn off the GPS service. It constantly runs without actually using GPS, draining the battery constantly. Possible this could be an issue on the Storm also? I dont see a reason the battery should be draining since the screen is smaller than the iPhones.

Set it from Location On to E911 and it's off.
