First, go to Options / Advanced Options / GPS and set GPS Data Source to "Device GPS" and GPS Services to "Location On."
That will enable the GPS.

You can't download BBMaps. It's installed as part of your OS. If it's not on your BlackBerry already, run Desktop Manager App Loader and install it. If you don't have your OS installed on your PC, then you'll have to do that before you can run the App Loader to install BBMaps.

Once BBMaps is installed, run it and go to Options. GPS Source should default to "Internal GPS." If it doesn't, make it so. Escape back to the menu and press "Start GPS Navigation." You need to be outdoors with a reasonably clear view of the sky. In a vehicle is ok.

If you don't lock onto 9-11 satellites within a minute, stop GPS navigation and try again. This time you should lock on in just a few seconds. I don't know why this happens, but it does occasionally.

No. It does not give voice turn-by-turn directions.

How the heck is this thread still alive? Seriously....

Beaten, pulled out, then the skeleton has been broken. Wow.

Scan the barcode for my Droid's PIN number. I recommend "Bar Code Scanner" since it seems to work real well.

How do I Google something?
