New BBMaps "my location cursor/pointer" color (awful)

My disappointment with the new BB Maps is the awful, drab, dark green color they chose for the "my location cursor/pointer" It is impossible to see at a casual glance against the background, unlike the bright red color of the previous build.

PLEASE bring back the red pointer!!!!

Perhaps if it was a flashing green, similar to the google maps cursor, it might be more bearable ?
