GPS not working on 8530 any suggestions???

My girlfriend received a replacement 8530 from Verizon and the GPS doesn't seem to be working. I turned the GPS on and off but Google Maps does not pick up the location and we also try Facebook but it says "your location is temporary unavailable" even though the GPS is on. I never owned a 8530 so I don't know if this is a known issue. Any suggestions?

This happended to me onces. I just waited until the location became available...

Yea we waited forever but it never worked. She received it about 2 weeks ago and it hasn't worked since. I know her old one had some trouble with it as well but after a while it would work, this one doesn't seem to work at all.
