Default GPS deactivated on my Verizon 9930?

I just installed poynt on my Verizon 9930 and each time I load it I get a message that says "your GPS chip has been deactivated." And then prompts me to go to: options>advanced options>GPS and ensure GPS services is set to Location ON.

I don't even seem to have that gps location on/off setting regardless.

Very odd as google maps seems to work just fine. Anyone know why Poynt is saying that? Thanks in advance!!

You have it, you just aren't navigating to it:

Options -> Device -> Location Settings -> Location Services = Location On

I have just had Verizon send me a new 9930 after a full week of no gps service to "spotty" gps service. Now after reading here, am wondering if there is something else going on. A reliable gps is essential, ver tech support...all but useless--same with going into the service centers.
