Default external GPS connected via USB

Hi there,
can I connect an external GPS receiver via USB instead of bluetooth with my 9700?
I want to connect with a GPS simulator on the PC.

I don't think your Blackberry will "see" a GPS when connected via USB. Every one I've ever seen is Bluetooth.

The BlackBerry USB port does not have any host controllers. It is not currently capable of using devices connect by the USB like that.
