Default Endomondo External GPS

A friend of mine is using a Curve 8520 without GPS, now he is looking for an External GPS Receiver to use with Endomondo.

On their Facebook profile I've read that they are not testing on Non GPS Devices (posted a year ago, concerning Nokia), but I think you set this Device in your BlackBerry Settings and the App wouldn't feel the difference?

Does anyone tested this before and can confirm if this is working?

PS the device he is looking for is the Adapt AD-350+ (66 Channel)
