Default Can my netbook make use of the Torch's GPS

I have an HP netbook that does not have a built in GPS. Is there a way to plug my BB Torch into the netbook via USB and have it recognize the GPS on the Torch, to use with my mapping program (Microsoft Streets & Trips)?

AG is correct, many people have asking this question.

No one has written software to do this yet, look at getting a USB GPS receiver.
They are pretty reasonably priced.

The OP makes it sound like netbooks usually come with built in GPS. I have not heard of a single netbook that would have something like this by default.
Am I just lost here?

Its a common feature on newer Netbooks, Dell and Asus mainly with some other manufacturers tagging along.

Some HP netbooks have it as well - my friend has an HP110 and it comes with a GPS and 'HP Navigator' software.

Thanks to all who replied - I had hoped for a blackberry solution as the USB GPS.
