Default BB Maps Not Visible

I cant find the blackberry maps application on my 8900 but it shows as installed in the applications menu. Can someone help me out here?

Was it preinstalled or did you download it? Do you have any hidden icons?

not hidden and was pre-installed i have also tried removing and re-installing it and today i upgraded to OS 5.0 but it still wont show, although its installed.

it comes under the option of installed even in blackberry desktop manager.

When you uninstalled and reinstalled it says "ok". Does it also give you the option to "run"? If so try running it as soon as you reinstall.

nothing... no such option... at the moment it is installed in my phone and shows up in the application menu...

Default i hear ya

dang. i have this exact same problem. i do hope someone comes along and saves the day. because i love the fact that it will tell you your speed and the fact that it loads a lot less data so it loads faster.

I'm not familiar with Ufone, but this information may also apply. BBMaps won't run on AT&T BlackBerries after OS4.3 without a workaround. AT&T prefers you to use their Nav app.

hey thnx for the links... i checked them and the "ribbon" file u were refering too... i dnt have tht in the list... i think tht is the problem..
