Default [FIXED]8310 GPS Problem ?

Hello Friends.

I have a Curve 8310. I borrowed from my friend.

But when i start the application Google Maps. System says me that :"Your location is temporarily unavailable"

Ana I click Options>>Advanced>>GPS

I click the Blackberry Button and Click Refres GPS.

After 1-2 minuts later, no changes in the positions

I can not understand what is the problem.

Sincerely

It could be that your carrier flashed your GPS to where it won't work without a certain program or service. I'd call them and ask.

I found a way to fix mine, but it involves accessing the engineering screens

Thanks for you reply. Maybe you are right. Because this phone from Vodafone and when i borrowed this from my mates, i first remove the IT policy. So i can acces internet browser.

and than i want to try your second suggestion. Could you send a howto link ?

Thanks

EDİT: i accessed the engineering screen via type ALT+CAPSLOCK+H and i see "help me!" screen. Now i see something but what will i do noty ?

Soryy for my bad english

LAST EDİT: yes it is working! Thanks you.

So first i login this engineering screen and from this screen i enter

Os Engineerin Screens>>GPS>>Start Tracking (Autonomous)

And then I opened the Google Map and saw my location within 1 meters I saw my coordinates

Thank you
